Über NUOVA PROTECME SRL
PROTECME SPA was established in 1942 to be at the service of the foundry industry. It is a medium-small company with a staff of about 20 people and is placed in Ossona, half way between Milan and Malpensa airport. PROTECME holds an important position in the market of foundries, smelters and companies involved in the transformation of aluminium alloys and non-ferrous alloys in general. The company is certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 quality system standard. PROTECME produces/supplies auxiliary materials and equipment that can be listed as follows: 1. Chemical fluxes in the form of fused, powders, tablets, granules, for the treatment of molten non-ferrous alloys (for protecting, deoxidising, drossing, degassing, grain refining aluminium alloys with Ti and B, modifying Al-Si alloys with sodium, eliminating undesired elements). 2. Metallic sodium for modifying Al-Si alloys. 3. Self-sinking tablets for introducing particular elements in the aluminium alloys, such as: Mn, Fe, Cu, Ti, Ni, Cr, P. 4. Master alloys in the form of sticks, rod coils, piglets, etc. for grain refining aluminium alloys with Ti and B, modifying Al-Si alloys with strontium. 5. Fluxes for cleaning furnace walls. 6. Prefabricated lightweight ceramic components and monalite items. 7. Protective coatings, dressings and lubricants to be applied on sand and metal moulds and cores. 8. Binders and additives used in the production of sand moulds and cores. 9. Glass fibre filtering cloths. 10. Ceramic foam filters. 11. Graphite and silicon carbide crucibles and accessories. 12. Non-ferrous alloys. 13. Equipment for analysing the content of hydrogen in molten aluminium alloys. 14. LASER machines for the metallurgical treatment of molten aluminium alloys
