Pfannenberg, specialist for thermal management of electrical enclosures and processes, offers a comprehensive product range of different thermal management solutions for industry. Under the brand name εcool, Pfannenberg has manufactured devices which are not only very easy to mount but are also maintenance friendly and have a high energy efficiency since 2010.

In particular, cooling with water has proved to be very cost-effective and energy efficient. Chillers combined with air/water heat exchangers provide a TCO-optimized system solution. Particularly in air-conditioned areas, which should not be heated additionally, it is necessary that the heat will be completely removed from these areas. Also applications, in which a conventional thermal management with cooling units or filterfans is not possible due to dust and dirt pollution, are predestined for water cooling.

The new Pfannenberg chillers from the Compact series are available in 6 performance classes from 1kW to 6.6kW in just 2 sizes and their design makes them especially space- saving. The 6 performance classes enable you to make a flexible adjustment to the device you choose without your having to dimension the essential connections or floor space again. The Compact Chiller can also be mounted on the roof which makes it easier to install them in compact plants. In addition, they reach a high coefficient of performance (COP), as all εcool devices do.

The chillers, in the same design as the Pfannenberg top-mounted cooling units, are also easy to maintain: Removable side walls and a hinged door on the front of the devices enable easy access to the components. The new tank design with a large opening on the device renders the filling funnel unnecessary. The high system of protection IP 54 supports the device‘s operation in harsh ambient conditions. In addition, the optimal airflow provides improved temperature stability, also in higher ambient temperatures.
