Robot technology, which has significantly contributed to advancements in the manufacturing industry, has played a part on the production plant floor as well as in our
everyday lives and is continuing the challenge to solve the various issues still present in Monozukuri, safety & reliability and medical welfare.

Service robots (SR) and robot technologies (RT) are currently being developed and getting closer and closer to practical application. There are high expectations that these will pave the way for new industry development.

The theme of International Robot Exhibition 2013 is “RT - Making a Future with Robots”, symbolizing the hope that robot technology will advance in leaps & bounds and play a major role in our future. During the exhibit, robot technology and products from both Japan and countries across the globe will be on display and we aim to make it a place which offers even more technical interaction and business discussions.
